Job summary

FRP Advisory Group is seeking an Assistant Manager to join its growing Restructuring Advisory team in Manchester. You will handle a wide range of assignments across advisory and formal engagements, supporting case progression and statutory compliance for insolvency work.

You will analyse financial information, review forecasts, and draft high-quality reports for internal and external stakeholders, liaising with directors, creditors, and legal advisors.

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant with ACA/ACCA.
• Experience on insolvency or restructuring assignments.
• Strong knowledge of UK insolvency legislation and procedures.
• Excellent written and report-writing skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and core maths skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyse financial information and provide commentary on accounts, budgets and forecasts.
• Identify unusual trends or variances and their causes by understanding the business operations.
• Review forecast financial models and assumptions.
• Support management of insolvency cases including administrations, CVLs, WUCs, CVAs and BKYs.
• Draft and review high-quality reports and presentations for stakeholders.
• Liaise with directors, creditors, legal advisors, accountants and agents.
• Support and supervise junior team members and contribute to their development.
