Job summary

Hawksmoor is seeking an Assistant General Manager to join a senior leadership team in a busy London restaurant. You’ll work closely with the General Manager to deliver exceptional hospitality, develop high-performing teams and drive strong commercial results on the floor and during service.

You will coach front-of-house managers, set standards, and lead shifts with confidence while maintaining Hawksmoor’s renowned warmth and guest experience.

Qualifications

• Experienced as an Assistant General Manager, Restaurant Manager or senior hospitality leader.
• Confident and inspiring people manager with strong communication.
• Commercially aware, focused on delivering service standards.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in leading the restaurant operation.
• Own service standards and guest experience, on the floor and on shifts.
• Coach and develop managers and front-of-house team members.
• Lead shifts with professionalism and warmth; drive performance.
• Support recruitment, training and succession planning.
