Job summary

WSP is seeking a highly experienced Geologist to join the Mine Engineering & Stability team at Senior/Director level. You will develop geological models, estimate resources, and lead QA/QC across projects from London or anywhere in the UK and Ireland.

You will engage in client meetings, field reviews, and multidisciplinary studies, with opportunities for growth and Chartered status support. A flexible hybrid setup is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in geology from a recognised university or equivalent.
• Registered as a Chartered Geologist (CGeol) in the UK or equivalent.
• Experience in resource estimation and geostatistics for various deposits.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine geological models to support resource estimation.
• Estimate mineral resources with precision and accuracy.
• Conduct site investigations and audits to ensure compliance and quality.
• Lead QA/QC reviews on projects and reports.
• Contribute to technical reports and studies (PEA, PFS, FS).
• Drive business growth by promoting WSP capabilities and attracting clients.
