Job Title: Senior Residential Support Worker / Team Leader

Provision: Children's Home, for ages 7 to 17, EBD, 4 Bed

Sleeps: £60 per sleep

Shift patterns: 2 on 4 off - approximately 10 sleeps per month

Attendance bonus: Yes, £100 per month

Location: Chorley

Reporting to: Deputy / Registered Manager

Qualification required: Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent

Work / Shift Pattern: 2 on 4 off

Overtime: Available if desired, paid at 1.3x hourly rate

The role of Senior is ideally suited to an:

• Senior Residential Support Worker seeking new challenges with opportunities for progression
• Experienced Residential Support Worker aiming to advance their career, enrolled or completed Level 3 in Residential Childcare or equivalent (note: Level 3 in Health and Social Care is not considered equivalent)

Job Overview:

Senior Residential Support Workers (also known as Team Leaders) go above and beyond to help children with difficult pasts forge positive pathways towards a brighter future.

Shift Pattern: Condensed shifts of two days on, four days off, with an additional day per month on average.

Holiday: 5.6 weeks of annual leave per year

Additional leave: Awarded at 2 and 5 years of service
