About the Role: Our client is a leading provider supporting young people and children. Due to ongoing growth, we are seeking a Children’s Support Worker for their high-quality accommodations in Chorley. Responsibilities:

• Assist the Home Manager & Service Manager to operate the home effectively, supporting young people's development and resolving issues.
• Provide a caring, therapeutic environment for young people with challenging behavior and learning disabilities.
• Demonstrate leadership and organizational skills.
• Maintain effective administrative and record-keeping systems.
• Coordinate childcare planning for children within the home.
• Ensure the environment is safe, healthy, and homely.
• Liaise with external agencies, educational institutions, and local authorities.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the home.

Requirements:

• Valid driving license and willingness to travel to other homes as needed.
• Experience working with challenging young people (minimum 12 months).
• Willingness to work towards NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People if not already qualified.

Salary: From £25,000 to £30,000+ per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
