Job summary

Sgs-Care-Ltd is seeking a Senior Residential Care Worker for a 4-bed Children’s Residential Home in Leicester (LE6). The role involves leading shifts, building relationships with 8–17 year olds with EBD, and delivering therapeutic, structured care.

You will be responsible for day-to-day operations, supporting colleagues, and helping young people gain confidence and independence. Sleep-ins and competitive hourly rates apply.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Children's & Young People's Workforce.
• Previous experience working within an Ofsted Registered Children's Home.

📍 Location - Leicester (LE6)

💷 Salary & Package

Annual Salary: £35,640 per annum (including approximately 10 sleep-ins per month)

Salary Breakdown:

• Base Salary: £30,240 per annum

• Sleep-in Payments: Approximately £5,400 per annum (10 sleep-ins per month at £45 each)

Hourly Rate: £15.75 per hour + £5.00 per hour (additional rate where applicable)

Sleep-in Rate: £45 per sleep

Working Hours: 160 hours per month

Employment Type: Permanent

✅ Experience Required

• Previous experience working within an Ofsted Registered Children's Home.

You will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day running of the home while helping young people develop confidence, resilience and independence.
