Job summary

Sgscare is recruiting a Senior Residential Support Worker for a 3-bed children’s home in Billingham. You will provide dedicated care to children with learning disabilities, delivering a nurturing, structured environment.

You will work at least 37 hours weekly with sleep-ins paid; permanent contract; driving license required; salary £16.60 per hour; opportunities for progression, funded training, pension, and free onsite parking.

Qualifications

• Level 4 CYPP or Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare is required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a children's residential setting.
• Full UK Driving Licence is required.
• Experience with children with Learning Disabilities is desirable.

Job Title: Senior Residential Support Worker

Location: Billingham

Salary: £16.60 per hour (dependent on experience)

Working Hours: No less than 37 hours per week (overtime or additional contracted hours available)

Employment Type: Permanent

Sleep-ins: 9–11 per month (as required), paid at £58.40 per sleep

Example Annual Earnings: Up to approximately £38,970 per year (based on 37 hours per week and an average of 10 sleep-ins per month)

Qualifications Required

• Level 4 Children, Young People and Families Practitioner or
• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare

Experience Required

• Minimum of 1 year's experience working in a relevant children's residential setting.

This is a 3-bed children's home providing specialist support for children and young people with Learning Disabilities. The home offers a nurturing, structured and child-centred environment where young people are supported to develop independence, confidence and life skills.
