O’Neill & Brennan are recruiting an experienced Site Manager or Senior Site Manager to lead a brand-new residential development in Shepton Mallet, Somerset. The role covers from site set-up through to completion, with a focus on quality, programme delivery and site safety.

The package includes £70,000 per annum plus a £5,000 car allowance, permanent employment, and an early November start. Applicants should have proven residential delivery experience and qualifications such as SMSTS, CSCS and

Qualifications

• Experience as Site Manager or Senior Site Manager in residential construction.
• Previous delivery of new-build residential developments.
• Experience with housebuilders, developers or main contractors.
• Ability to lead a development and manage subcontractors effectively.
• Strong focus on quality, safety and site presentation.
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Take day-to-day responsibility for the delivery of the development.
• Manage site set-up, groundworks through to completion and handover.
• Coordinate subcontractors, trades and site resources.
• Drive the build programme and hit key milestones.
• Maintain high standards of quality and site safety.
• Work with construction, commercial and technical teams.
• Manage inspections, snagging and handovers.
• Keep senior management and stakeholders informed.
