Job summary

O'Neill & Brennan is recruiting a Senior Site Manager for a 200-unit traditional build residential development in East Sussex. You will lead the site team, coordinate subcontractors, and drive delivery safely, on programme and to NHBC standards.

The role requires proven residential construction experience, a strong leadership style, and the ability to manage multiple trades while maintaining quality and site records. CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven residential construction experience, including traditional build housing.
• Experience on NHBC-regulated developments.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and trades.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day running of the residential development.
• Lead and coordinate site teams, subcontractors and trades.
• Ensure the project is delivered safely, on programme and to high standards.
• Oversee construction from initial works through to completion and handover.
• Monitor progress against programme and identify delays.
• Maintain quality control throughout all stages of construction.
• Ensure works meet NHBC standards and requirements.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks.
• Liaise with the Project Manager, Contracts Manager and stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate site records and documentation.
• Ensure all health & safety requirements are met and maintained.
