O’Neill & Brennan is recruiting an experienced Site Manager for a new build residential development in Bristol. You will manage day-to-day construction activities, coordinate subcontractors and ensure high-quality finishes on residential homes.

The role requires strong leadership, organisation and safety focus, with a track record in traditional housing and apartment blocks. Permanent position with a leading developer offering growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Manager in new build residential construction.
• Strong understanding of traditional housing construction methods and sequencing.
• Experience managing subcontractors, trades and programmes.
• Solid knowledge of NHBC standards and building regulations for housing.
• Proactive leadership and communication with site teams.
• Commitment to quality assurance, health and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for day-to-day management and coordination of construction activities.
• Manage subcontractors and trades to complete works safely and in line with programme.
• Oversee construction quality and finish of residential homes.
• Monitor progress, address delays and implement solutions.
• Coordinate materials, labour and site resources for efficient delivery.
• Maintain health and safety standards and site procedures.
• Conduct quality inspections and resolve defects promptly.
• Liaise with technical, commercial and customer care teams.
• Coordinate inspections with building control and warranty providers.
• Oversee plot completions, snagging and handovers to required standards.
• Maintain accurate site records and progress documentation.
