Job summary

Compass Community is seeking a Senior Residential Support Worker in the UK to lead shifts, supervise team members and uphold safeguarding and education support within a child-focused home.

You will engage with children and young people, building positive relationships and ensuring welfare while following placement plans and company policies. A valid driving licence and Ofsted age compliance are required.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Children’s and Young People Workforce.
• At least 2 years of experience in residential childcare.
• Valid manual driving licence.
• Age 22 or over to meet Ofsted regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts, supervise staff, and implement policies, procedures and risk assessments.
• Ensure placement plans are followed and education is supported.
• Develop positive relationships with children and safeguard them at all times.
• Provide welfare and guidance to residential workers.
