Job summary

CareTech in Stalybridge is seeking a Team Leader to support adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs in a registered residential service. You'll deliver person-centred care, supervise a small team, and ensure high standards of support and documentation in a rota-based pattern including evenings and weekends.

You should have at least 2 years' experience in supported living or residential care and at least 1 year in a senior or team-leading role, plus an enhanced DBS.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in care settings.
• Experience delivering person-centred support.
• Strong communication with residents, families and team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centred support in line with individual support plans.
• Supervise and mentor the care team to ensure quality of care.
• Support daily living tasks and personal care where required.
• Promote independence, dignity, and wellbeing for each resident.
• Maintain accurate records and effective team communication.
• Work a rota including evenings, weekends, bank holidays and sleep-ins.
