Job summary

Horizon Care Ltd in Stafford is seeking a Senior Residential Support Worker to assist young people in daily life within our homes in the West Midlands. You will support hobbies, social activities, and personal development, and help maintain safe, caring environments.

This role offers 37 hours per week at £15.65 per hour (with sleeps and overtime) and a route into education and progression through our academy, plus a Christmas bonus and wellbeing benefits.

Responsibilities

• Helping young people continue with hobbies, social activities, and friendships, and learn new skills.
• Supporting young people to reach their potential and experience new opportunities.
• Conducting Supervisions for staff members
• Manage the home effectively in the absence of the Deputy or Manager
• Effectively lead shifts, direct and support colleagues
• Manage health and safety processes in the home including the implementation and monitoring of risk assessments
• To support the induction of colleagues into the home
• To be responsible for safeguarding and actively promoting the welfare of children and young people
