Environment Agency seeks an experienced and inspirational leader to head the Reservoir Regulation team, guiding regulation across England to uphold public safety under the Reservoirs Act 1975.

You will drive strategic priorities, foster a high‑performance culture, and support a diverse workforce while collaborating with senior leaders, industry bodies and external stakeholders to secure safe, sustainable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in Regulation, Civil Engineering, Law or similar and relevant subject to Reservoir Regulation.
• Strategic leadership with ability to translate strategy into high‑quality operational delivery.
• Proven track record of driving high performance and psychological safety.
