Job summary

SCOR UK Company Limited is seeking an ambitious actuary to join their Reserving team. The successful candidate will lead the analysis of technical reserves and manage various reserving projects. A minimum of 7 years of experience in a Lloyd's/London Market reserving role is essential, along with strong knowledge of GAAP and Solvency II.

Qualifications

• Post qualified with at least 7 years’ experience in a Lloyd’s/London Market reserving role.
• Established knowledge of GAAP, Solvency II and Solvency UK.
• Proficient in ResQ and advanced Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the analysis of technical reserves quarterly.
• Manage reserving projects and improvements to models.
• Assist with annual UK portfolio review and actuarial report.
• Mentor junior team members.

Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries FIA

GAAP knowledge

Solvency II knowledge

Knowledge of regulatory requirements

Understanding of P&C (re)insurance

Project management

Actuarial software proficiency (ResQ)

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Coding in VBA, SQL, Python

Education
