Job summary

SCOR is seeking an ambitious actuary in London to join the Reserving team, delivering quarterly reserve analyses for multiple lines and driving reserving projects across UK and European entities.

The role requires FIA fellowship (7+ years in a Lloyd's/London Market reserving environment), strong GAAP/Solvency II/IFRS17 knowledge, and proficiency with ResQ and Excel. Sponsorship is not available; UK work rights required.

Qualifications

• Fellow FIA or equivalent with 7+ years in Lloyd's/London Market reserving
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, Solvency II and Solvency UK
• IFRS17 knowledge
• Regulatory awareness and impact on business
• Proficient in actuarial software, databases and reporting tools including ResQ
• Experience leading projects and mentoring juniors

Responsibilities

• Deliver quarterly reserves analysis for multiple lines of business
• Deliver reserving projects and automate processes
• Prepare governance reporting for SCOR UK and SCOR Europe
• Lead model improvements and dashboard development
• Contribute to UK and European actuarial reports
• Collaborate with claims, finance, underwriting teams to develop tools
• Respond to auditor queries and support audit defence
• Enhance management information for PRA and ACPR
• Share quarterly movement trends with the business
• Mentor junior team members
