Senior Syndicate Reserving Actuary – Lead & Transform

Job summary

SCOR in London seeks an ambitious actuary to join the Reserving team, delivering a broad range of actuarial reserving services for the Lloyd’s Syndicate. You will work on quarterly reserving, support various reserving projects, and play a pivotal role in the group reserving transformation flagship.

Key duties include leading reserve analyses, driving automation, improving models and dashboards, and mentoring junior team members while coordinating with claims, finance and underwriting teams

Qualifications

• Fellow FIA/FCAS/FIAA with extensive experience in a Lloyd’s/London Market reserving role.
• Knowledge of UK GAAP, Lloyd’s requirements, Solvency II and Solvency UK.
• IFRS17 knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead quarterly analysis of technical reserves for multiple lines of business.
• Lead reserving projects including automation and modelling of lines of business; contribute to group transformation and syndicate components.
• Lead reporting for SCOR Managing Agency boards and governance bodies.
