Job summary

Royal Devon is seeking a motivated Paediatric Senior Research Nurse to join a dynamic research team delivering high-quality clinical studies. You will oversee the children’s portfolio, support adult trials, and ensure studies are conducted safely and efficiently in line with GCP and regulatory requirements.

The role includes identifying eligible participants, conducting visits and assessments, collecting data, and maintaining documentation.

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Paediatric Senior Research Nurse to join a dynamic and supportive research team delivering high-quality clinical research. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative research studies while supporting the development of evidence-based practice and improving outcomes for patients in the future.

As a Senior Research Nurse, you will play a key role in the delivery of a wide range of clinical research studies, overseeing the children's portfolio, and support for adult trials within the wider R and D team. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure studies are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with study protocols, regulatory requirements, and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.

The role involves supporting the identification and recruitment of eligible participants, conducting study visits and research assessments, collecting clinical data and samples, and maintaining accurate research documentation. You will work closely with investigators, research teams, and external partners to ensure the smooth running of studies and a positive experience for research participants.

As a Senior Research Nurse, you will be expected to line manage staff and lead on set up of clinical trials in an effective and efficient manner to meet NIHR Key Performance Indicators (KPI).

This role offers the opportunity to develop research skills, contribute to service development, and support the growth of a research-active clinical environment.

Working Pattern:Monday - Friday 9-5
