Job summary

Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust seeks a Registered Nurse for the Ear, Nose and Throat Outpatients department. The role requires delivering high quality nursing care, working autonomously and within a team, while protecting patient privacy and dignity.

You will demonstrate leadership and excellent communication in a dynamic multidisciplinary environment. The post is a fixed-term contract until 13/07/2027, with potential secondment for NHS staff.

Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse with NMC registration and current practising status.
  • Experience in ENT Outpatients or similar setting preferred.
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high quality nursing care in ENT Outpatients and maintain privacy and dignity.
  • Lead and collaborate with the team to ensure patient-centred care.
  • Demonstrate flexibility, organisation and effective communication with patients and colleagues.

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, motivated and committed to give high quality nursing care and be able to work autonomously as well as part of a team. You will consistently ensure that a patient’s privacy, dignity and psychological well-being is maintained, and at all times, the care given is patient centred.

You need to have excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills. We require individuals who are forward thinking, well organised and with a positive attitude towards flexibility and change.

Working Pattern:Monday-Friday 8-6
