Job summary

Loreburn Housing Association Limited in Dumfries & Galloway is recruiting a senior repairs leader to head the Repairs team. The post covers 38 FTE with regional travel, home-based with periodic visits to the Dumfries base, and a focus on safety, compliance and service improvement.

You will drive performance, lead multi-disciplined trade teams and contracted partners, and support tenant-focused service delivery aligned with Loreburn’s GREAT values.

Qualifications

• Senior repairs/maintenance or building management experience in social housing.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and contractors.
• Budget, procurement and value-for-money focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of the repairs service across Dumfries and Galloway, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.
• Motivate, develop and performance-manage teams and drive service improvements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to drive productivity and tenant-focused outcomes.
• Oversee contractor performance and ensure value for money across contracts.
