WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead onshore renewable energy projects across the UK, with a focus on wind and repowering. You will oversee feasibility, option analysis, consenting, design, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover, while guiding multidisciplinary teams to deliver safely, on time and within budget.

You will act as a trusted advisor to clients, manage interfaces with planners, landowners and regulators, and contribute to business

Formación

• Degree in Engineering, Project Management or related discipline.
• Chartered Engineer or equivalent accreditation desirable.
• PM qualification such as APM PMQ, PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMP beneficial.
• Experience delivering renewables infrastructure projects, especially onshore wind.
• Proven ability to manage projects through all development stages.
• Strong understanding of lifecycles, risks and stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Lead renewable energy projects from feasibility to operation.
• Manage scope, programme, budget, risk, quality, safety and commercial performance.
• Coordinate civil, electrical, structural, environmental and grid specialists.
• Interface with clients, landowners, planners, regulators and contractors.
• Provide strategic leadership and client liaison.
• Support site selection, optioneering, feasibility and consent strategies.
• Lead procurement, specs, tender evaluations and contract awards.
• Administer and manage engineering and construction contracts (FIDIC/NEC).
• Oversee construction and ensure compliance with CDM and contractual terms.
• Identify risks/opportunities and implement mitigation strategies.
• Governance, reporting, forecasting and change control processes.
• Support business development and long-term pursuits.
• Mentor junior PMs and engineers; drive delivery excellence.
