Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly capable Electrical Control Systems Engineer for a fully remote role. You will design, implement, and maintain PLC/HMI control systems for industrial automation, collaborating with a globally distributed team from your home office.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics and 7+ years of PLC/HMI experience (Siemens TIA Portal, Rockwell Studio 5000) with strong diagnostics.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
7+ years designing and implementing industrial control systems.
Experience with PLC programming and HMI/SCADA interfaces.
Strong knowledge of industrial networks and VFDs.

Responsibilities

Design and implement PLC/HMI-based control systems for industrial projects.
Program, test, and commission control logic across multiple platforms.
Specify components and instrumentation for optimal performance.
Create and maintain electrical schematics, P&IDs, and docs.
Provide remote support and diagnostics with minimal downtime.
