Job summary

Amazon UK Services Ltd. is seeking a Senior Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician to lead on-site maintenance and optimization of reliability engineering systems.

You will supervise shifts, drive safety and standardization, and implement preventative maintenance to minimize downtime at our UK sites. You will monitor equipment performance with condition-based and SCADA-informed checks, lead improvements across EU operations, and collaborate with line managers on admin tasks, including

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or a 4-year IRL/UK certified apprenticeship completed.
• Experience in technical leadership and both electrical and mechanical disciplines.
• Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English.
• Experience in automation or material handling equipment environments.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate best practice on using equipment safely and monitor teams to ensure everyone follows the correct processes.
• Keep track of equipment performance through visual checks, condition-based monitoring, and preventative maintenance tasks and schedule additional servicing when required
• Supervise technicians on shift to support their development and act as the first point of contact for Reliability Maintenance Engineers
• Solve issues in equipment to reduce downtime for operations so they can process packages as quickly as possible
• Support in finding ways to continually improve systems and standardize processes across the EU network
