Job summary

Amazon Uk Services Ltd. is seeking a Senior Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician to ensure safety, perform preventative maintenance, and maximize equipment availability across the EU network.

You will lead shifts, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvements in a fast-paced Amazon operations environment. The role is located at an operational site in the UK with shift patterns including weekends and nights, offering opportunities to progress into more senior roles within the

Qualifications

High school or equivalent diploma.
NVQ Level 3/ SVQ Level 3/ IVQ Level 3/ City & Guilds Level 3 in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics.
4 years UK certified apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate best practice on using equipment safely and monitor teams to ensure everyone follows the correct processes.
Keep track of equipment performance through visual checks, condition-based monitoring, and preventative maintenance tasks and schedule additional servicing when required.
Supervise technicians on shift to support their development and act as the first point of contact for Reliability Maintenance Engineers.
Solve issues in equipment to reduce downtime for operations so they can process packages as quickly as possible.
Support in finding ways to continually improve systems and standardize processes across the EU network.
