Job summary

Amazon UK Services Ltd. is seeking an Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician to perform proactive and reactive maintenance on a diverse range of on-site equipment at our UK fulfilment centres.

You will diagnose faults, implement quick fixes, and contribute to long-term equipment efficiency and safety standards across EU sites. You will work with a technically skilled team, rotate shifts to cover 24/7 operations, and participate in onboarding and mentoring of on-site apprentices while

Qualifications

4-year UK certified apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3/ SVQ Level 3/ IVQ Level 3/ City & Guilds Level 3/EAL Level 3 in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics.
Relevant experience as a qualified engineer.
Relevant experience in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance.
Advanced proficiency in the local language verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

Proactive and preventative maintenance tasks on a wide range of site equipment.
Carry out reactive repairs and fault diagnosis in a live distribution warehouse.
Use the latest tools to maximise equipment effectiveness.
Uphold all health and safety policies and practices.
Support the development and progression of on-site apprentices.
Work on continuous improvement projects and roll out best practices across a range of EU sites.
