Job summary

Amazon UK Services Ltd. is seeking a Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician (RME) to maintain a wide range of site equipment, uphold health and safety, and reduce downtime in our fulfilment operations across EU sites.

Based on-site, you will perform proactive and reactive maintenance, diagnose faults in a live warehouse, and support on-site apprentices while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and safe operating practices.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics, or 4‑year UK certified apprenticeship.
• Flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• Experience in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Experience in engineering.
• Advanced proficiency in the local language verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Proactive and preventative maintenance tasks on a wide range of site equipment
• Carry out reactive repairs and fault diagnosis in a live distribution warehouse
• Use the latest tools to maximise equipment effectiveness
• Uphold all health and safety policies and practices
• Support the development and progression of on-site apprentices
• Work on continuous improvement projects and roll out best practices across a range of EU sites
