Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. is seeking a Senior Consultant – Regulatory Advice to join our UK Asset Management and Advisory teams. You will lead workstreams, deliver regulatory analysis, and provide evidence-based advice on price controls and performance frameworks for clients in regulated sectors.

You will collaborate with Principals and Directors, support junior colleagues, and help shape strategic guidance while building trusted client relationships in a hybrid UK-based role.

Qualifications

• Experience in a regulated sector or regulatory consulting environment.
• Understanding of regulatory frameworks, price controls, performance and incentive regimes.
• Experience supporting price reviews or revenue-setting processes.
• Familiarity with assurance, audit, or governance concepts.
• Understanding benchmarking, or performance measurement.
• Experience facilitating workshops or supporting senior stakeholder discussions.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to work confidently with data and evidence.
• Excellent written communication skills, with experience producing regulator-or board-facing documents.
• Ability to manage tasks and priorities across multiple workstreams.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality regulatory advice to clients operating in regulated sectors.
• Lead workstreams within larger engagements or deliver smaller assignments independently.
• Produce clear, evidence-based analysis and advice on regulatory requirements, price controls, performance frameworks, and assurance.
• Work closely with Principals and Directors while supporting the development of junior colleagues.
