Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. seeks a Senior Consultant for Regulatory Advice within its Advisory Services Group in the UK. You will deliver high-quality regulatory analysis, lead workstreams, and partner with senior leaders to drive client outcomes.

You will apply expertise in price controls, performance frameworks, and governance while mentoring junior colleagues and expanding client relationships across utility providers and infrastructure developers.

Qualifications

• Experience in regulated sectors or regulatory consulting.
• Good understanding of regulatory frameworks, price controls, performance regimes.
• Experience supporting price reviews or revenue-setting processes.
• Familiarity with governance, assurance, or audit concepts.
• Understanding benchmarking or performance measurement.
• Experience facilitating workshops with senior stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills with data-driven evidence.
• Excellent written communication for regulator/board-facing documents.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead workstreams within larger engagements or deliver independent assignments.
• Produce clear, evidence-based regulatory advice on requirements and price controls.
• Collaborate with Principals and Directors while mentoring junior colleagues.
• Identify opportunities to reduce risk and improve client performance.
• Develop client relationships to raise visibility of the Advisory Services group.
