Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Consultant – Regulatory Advice to join its Regulatory Advice team within the Advisory Services Group. You will lead workstreams and deliver independent, evidence-based regulatory analysis on price controls, performance frameworks, and assurance, collaborating with Principals and Directors while mentoring junior colleagues.

You will spot opportunities to reduce risk and improve client performance, building relationships to grow the Advisory Services offering across UK

Qualifications

• Experience in regulated sectors or regulatory consulting, preferably utilities.
• Understanding of price controls, performance and incentive regimes.
• Experience supporting price reviews or revenue-setting processes.
• Familiarity with assurance, audit or governance concepts.
• Strong analytical capability with data-driven insights.
• Excellent written communication for regulator- or board-facing documents.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and complex tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead workstreams within engagements or deliver smaller assignments independently.
• Produce clear, evidence-based regulatory analysis and advice.
• Work with Principals and Directors while mentoring junior colleagues.
• Identify opportunities to reduce risk and improve client performance.
• Develop relationships to grow the Advisory Services group and Stantec business.
