Circle Health Group is seeking a Senior Registered Nurse to join the Pre Assessment team at Thornbury Hospital in Sheffield. This full-time role is 37.5 hours per week with a flexible shift pattern.

The remuneration is up to £37,000 per year, reflecting experience, training and qualifications. You will lead on the assessment and care planning for complex patients, administer medications, and liaise with the multidisciplinary team to ensure smooth transitions of care.

Senior Registered Nurse - Pre Assessment Thornbury Hospital 37.5 Hours & Permanent Salary: Up to £37,000.00 per year (depending on level of experience, training and qualification) Thornbury Hospital in Sheffield is part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country.

Circle Health Group has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Registered Nurse to join our friendly and motivated team of staff working in the Pre Assessment department. This is a full time role at 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.

Duties of this role include:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care and lead on the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care for complex patients
• Use advanced clinical knowledge to make timely and appropriate decisions, escalating where necessary.
• Administer medication safely and monitor patient response, ensuring adherence to NMC and local protocols.
• Delegate tasks appropriately, ensuring safe and effective workload management across the shift.
• Uphold a culture of safety by ensuring compliance with infection prevention, safeguarding, medicines management, and risk reporting procedures.
• Act as a key contact for patients and their families, offering clinical updates, reassurance, and information to support shared decision-making.
• Liaise effectively with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and ensure smooth transitions between services.

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

• Registered Nurse (Adult) with active NMC registration.
• Significant post-registration experience in an acute or relevant clinical setting.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and support a nursing team.
• Strong clinical decision-making, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate and patient-focused approach.
• Confidence in working independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
• Previous experience in a senior or supervisory nursing role desirable.
