Job summary

Circle Health Group’s Thornbury Hospital in Sheffield is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Outpatients department to join a dedicated team. This full-time, permanent role offers 37.5 hours per week with a flexible shift pattern and a salary of up to £32,000 depending on experience, training, and qualification.

You will deliver direct nursing care, assess patient needs, maintain documentation, and communicate clearly with patients, families and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (Adult) with valid NMC registration.
• Demonstrable experience in a clinical healthcare setting.
• Good understanding of clinical governance and patient safety.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team.
• Proficient in IT systems used for patient records and care planning.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care in line with patient care plans and clinical protocols.

• Maintain accurate, legible, and timely nursing documentation.

We have an opportunity for an Registered Nurse to join their team of staff in the Outpatients department.

This is a full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.

Duties Of This Role Include

• Deliver direct nursing care in line with patient care plans and clinical protocols.
• Assess patient needs, prioritise care, and update care plans accordingly.
• Maintain accurate, legible, and timely nursing documentation, including assessments, care plans, and observations.
• Communicate effectively and empathetically with patients, families, and carers, providing information, reassurance, and emotional support.
• Support patients in understanding their condition, treatments, and recovery processes.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide high-quality, safe, and efficient care.
• Identify and report incidents, safeguarding concerns, and potential risks in line with hospital procedures.

Applicants Should Meet The Following Criteria

• Registered Nurse (Adult) with valid NMC registration.
