Job summary

Jewish Care is seeking a Registered Manager for Anita Dorfman House, part of the Sandringham campus in Stanmore. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, ensure safe, compassionate, person-centred care, and drive quality improvements while safeguarding regulatory compliance.

You will oversee clinical governance, budgets, occupancy, staffing, and service development, shaping a positive culture and continuous improvement across the home.

Qualifications

• A recognised nursing qualification and a valid NMC PIN.
• At least two years’ experience in senior management within health or social care.
• Proven experience managing a large care or nursing home with positive regulatory outcomes.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and creating a positive, accountable working culture.
• Strong governance, safeguarding, DoLS knowledge and regulatory requirements of care services.
• Commercial awareness with budgets, occupancy, staffing and operational performance.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and operational management of the home.
• Ensure residents receive safe, compassionate, person-centred care promoting dignity and independence.
• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team and maintain high standards of governance and compliance.
• Oversee financial performance, workforce planning and service development.
• Collaborate with residents, families and external partners to maintain a safe and high-quality service.
