Job summary

Embrace Care is seeking a confident, Level 5 qualified Registered Manager (or working towards) to lead our Ofsted-regulated children’s residential home in Preston, supporting children with Autism, LD/ADHD and complex needs. You will provide strong leadership, safeguarding accountability and drive continuous improvement.

The role offers leadership autonomy, a competitive salary (£50,000–£75,000) depending on experience and a December bonus, plus comprehensive benefits and on‑call support.

Qualifications

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards).
• Two years’ experience as a Registered Manager in an Ofsted-regulated children’s residential home.
• Proven good or outstanding Ofsted outcomes and experience supporting children with complex needs.

Responsibilities

• Full Registered Manager responsibilities under Ofsted regulations.
• Lead the home, its culture, values, performance and standards.
• Safeguarding leadership, quality assurance and continuous improvement.
• Staff recruitment, supervision, development and performance.
• Ensure positive, stable and lasting outcomes for children and young people.
• Participate in the on-call rota as part of senior leadership.
