Job summary

Service Care Solutions is recruiting two experienced Children’s Home Registered Managers to lead residential services in the Preston area. You will oversee day-to-day operations, ensure safe, nurturing care and maintain regulatory compliance.

You will lead the staff team, develop a child-centred culture, manage safeguarding, care planning and liaise with families and authorities to achieve positive outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience managing or leading within a children’s residential care setting.

The Role

As Children’s Home Registered Manager, you will take responsibility for the effective day-to-day management of a residential children’s home, ensuring that the service delivers safe, nurturing and high-quality care. You will provide leadership and guidance to the staff team, promote a positive and child-centred culture, and ensure that the home operates in accordance with relevant legislation, regulatory requirements and safeguarding standards.

Essential Requirements

• Previous experience managing or leading within a children’s residential care setting.
• A strong understanding of safeguarding, child protection and residential childcare regulations.
• The ability to lead, motivate and develop a staff team.
• Excellent communication, organisational and decision-making skills.
• A commitment to providing high-quality, child-centred care.
• A relevant Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare, or an equivalent recognised qualification, where required for the role.

Salary and Benefits
