Job summary

Agincare in Worthing is seeking a Registered Manager to lead a domiciliary home care service, ensuring safe, high-quality care and regulatory compliance under CQC standards. You will oversee audits, risk assessments, staff induction and ongoing supervision, while maintaining robust safeguarding and client-centred care.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months right to work in the United Kingdom.
• Management qualification at QCF Level4 or equivalent, or willingness to work towards this qualification.
• QCF level4 or higher in Health & Social Care or equivalent.
• Previous registration in a home care service preferable.
• Demonstrable up-to-date knowledge of the care sector, including running a home care service and regulatory framework.
• Excellent leadership and management skills.
• Experience of working with vulnerable client groups.

Responsibilities

• Leading the team to provide safe, caring, responsive and effective services.
• Ensure care and treatment choices promote dignity and individuality.
• Review and adapt care plans to current needs; liaise with clients, staff and health professionals.
• Carry out auditing to gauge quality and take corrective actions.
• Maintain effective risk assessments to protect clients.
• Induct new staff; ensure ongoing training, supervision and support.
• Manage staffing to cover care calls and contingency plans for absences.
• Investigate complaints regarding safeguarding, abuse, or service delivery; notify relevant parties.
