Job summary

Deverellsmith Group is seeking a Senior Regional Facilities Manager to lead FM delivery across the UK residential portfolio. You will implement strategy, standards and commercial frameworks, ensuring safety, compliance and cost-efficiency at scale.

The role is centered at the Central London Head Office with regular travel to portfolio sites in London and occasional trips to Birmingham, Leeds and Manchester. Strong leadership and regulatory expertise are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Extensive senior experience leading FM across large multi-site portfolios.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements including Building Safety Act.
• Proven ability to own multi-million-pound service charges and budgets.
• Experience managing and developing cross-functional facilities/engineering teams.
• Excellent contractor management and senior-level presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel regularly across the portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of Regional Facilities Managers and Facilities Managers.
• Run monthly safety, budget and performance reviews; monitor critical plant via BMS and inspections.
• Implement the portfolio-wide statutory compliance strategy (Building Safety Act, permits to work).
• Own engineering and service charge budgets; drive cost efficiency and savings.
• Manage procurement of contracts from tender to mobilisation and reporting.
• Provide technical input on new developments moving from construction to occupation.
