Job summary

Hussmann Corporation is seeking an experienced Installation Manager to oversee refrigeration project installations at customer sites. You will supervise installers, coordinate schedules, manage budgets, and ensure safe, high-quality work while maintaining customer satisfaction.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive HVAC/R experience, and the ability to read plans and coordinate with multiple stakeholders. Travel and nights/weekends may be required depending on project needs.

Qualifications

• Required Level: High School OR Ten years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Preferred level: Technical Degree
• Minimum Years of Experience Necessary: 10 years of exp with HS/GED
• EPA 608 Certification preferred but not required.
• HVAC/R with minimum 10-year commercial experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee assigned site branch Installation project, report progress to Installation Supervisor/Project Manager to maximize profit and maintain customer satisfaction.
• Determine schedules, sequences, and assignments for work activities based on priority and skill.
• Communicate with customers and representatives including owners, contractors, and field staff.
• Ensure compliance with contracting processes and close-out documentation.
• Maintain forecasted cost at completion by reviewing hours and material cost; discuss scope, budgets, and performance with contractors and owners.
• Coordinate installation or remodel on-site including supervision of crews; estimate labor and requisition materials.
