Job summary

Hussmann is seeking a Service Operations Manager to oversee district-wide service operations, lead a team of technicians, and support customer relationships. You will drive contracts and estimates, forecast needs, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance across the branch.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in service operations, refrigeration knowledge, and strong leadership with excellent communication. This role requires flexibility, travel within the region, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED; associates degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years related experience preferred.
• Knowledge of basic refrigeration and HVAC is preferred.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills required.
• Flexibility to work outside normal hours; valid driver's license and travel within region.

Responsibilities

• Oversee service operations within a district.
• Lead and develop field service technicians to meet objectives.
• Support the acquisition process and customer relationships.
• Assist Area Service Manager with forecasts, cost-savings, and risk assessments.
• Assist with contracts, estimates, and manpower planning.
• Conduct performance appraisals and support disciplinary actions as needed.
• Ensure workplace safety policies are followed (OSHA).
• Support customer billing and collections as required.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
