Job summary

Arcus FM Limited is seeking a Senior Refrigeration Engineer to service supermarket refrigeration systems across the Birmingham patch. This mobile, on-the-road role involves diagnostics, maintenance, servicing and repairs with a strong focus on customer service.

Role requires F-Gas (2079), CO2 qualification, and proven refrigeration experience. Expect 45-hour weeks, on-call rotation, and progression within an award-winning facilities management provider.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driver’s license is essential.
• Refrigeration engineering experience required.
• F-Gas certification (C&G 2079) is required.
• CO2 qualification preferred.
• Experience with supermarket refrigeration is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Travel across patch to service and maintain supermarket refrigeration systems.
• Provide high-quality diagnostics, maintenance, servicing and repairs.
• Deliver outstanding customer service on-site with a mobile team approach.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be on the road, keeping our clients supermarket refrigeration systems running smoothly across your patch, carrying out high-quality diagnostics, maintenance, servicing and repairs – all while delivering outstanding customer service.

This is a hands-on, mobile role where no two days are the same.

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

• Valid UK driver’s license


• Refrigeration engineering experience


• F-Gas certification (C&G 2079)


• CO2 Qualification


• Supermarket refrigeration experience


• Excellent communication and time management


• A strong work ethic, with Health & Safety awareness

Additional info:

• The role will involve working 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday


• On-call rota: 1 in every 4 weeks
