Job summary

Places for People Group is seeking a Senior Recreational Assistant to help ensure the safe and efficient running of our centre while taking on some Duty Manager duties.

You will mentor staff, maintain high customer service standards, and support training and development. Ideally you hold the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) with current records; National Pool Plant qualification is a bonus.

We are looking for a Senior Recreational Assistant, who is looking to gain experience and take on some Duty Manager duties. You will help ensure the safe and efficient running of your centre. You will maintain a high profile with our customers and operational staff. You will act as a mentor and role model and support the training and development of staff.

More about you

You will have excellent communication and social skills as you'll often be the first point of contact for customers. You will have real attention to detail to ensure the safety of our customers as well as the cleanliness of our centre and pool environment. You will be responsible for ensuring our cleaning schedule is adhered to and the preparation of areas and equipment as appropriate, so you'll need to be hard working and have a conscientious attitude underpinned with by your skills in initiative application.

Ideally, you'll have your National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) with up to date NPLQ training records. Holding the National Pool Plant qualification would also be great but it is not essential.
