Job summary

AVEVA is seeking an experienced Lead Consultant to drive real-time optimization projects for refinery and petrochemical operations using AVEVA Process Optimization software. You will lead end-to-end implementation, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and support presales activities.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in relevant sectors, hands-on experience with major process simulators, and a strong background in APC and optimization technologies.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD in Chemical Engineering required.
5+ years in real-time optimization systems in refinery/petrochemical/chemical/EPC sectors.
Hands-on with process simulators (PRO/II, HYSYS, Aspen Plus, PetroSIM).
Experience with APC and cross‑functional collaboration.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

Lead project kickoff and design specification meetings.
Configure AVEVA Process Optimization applications.
Conduct model reviews and FAT/SAT activities.
Prepare comprehensive project documentation.
Deliver user training and provide on-site/remote support.
Collaborate with sales to support presales and value-based engagements.
