Job summary

Stone King is seeking a senior associate to join its nationally renowned Real Estate team, based from Bath, Birmingham, or Leeds, with a hybrid working model. The role offers scope to lead within the Real Estate team and develop your career.

The successful candidate will have extensive Commercial Property experience, supervisory capabilities, and a track record in business development. A supportive culture underpins a flexible working approach and opportunities for client relationship growth.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a solicitor with Commercial Property expertise and handling complex transactions.
• Experience supervising and developing other team members.
• Proactive business development and marketing experience to promote the firm and cross-sell services.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of commercial property matters including acquisitions, disposals, landlord and tenant work, and development projects.
• Lead complex real estate transactions from instruction through to completion.
• Provide clear, pragmatic legal advice to developers, investors, occupiers, lenders, and landowners.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships as a trusted adviser and main point of contact.
• Draft, review, and negotiate leases, sale contracts, licences, and ancillary documents.
• Collaborate with Corporate, Construction, and Planning teams on cross-sector deals.
• Identify and manage legal and commercial risks with practical solutions.
• Supervise and mentor junior solicitors, trainees, and support staff.
• Contribute to business development via networking, client events, seminars and thought leadership.
• Support growth of the Commercial Property team through client relationship management.
• Maintain awareness of market trends and regulatory risk management.
