Job summary

The successful candidate will bring extensive Commercial Property experience, supervise colleagues, and drive business development while delivering practical legal solutions for developers, investors, occupiers, lenders, and landowners.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a solicitor in Commercial Property with complex transactions.
• Experience supervising and developing other team members.
• Pro-active business development and marketing experience (pitches, seminars, client events).
• Strong organisational skills, ability to manage multiple cases and financial hygiene.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; confident in stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of commercial property matters.
• Lead complex real estate transactions from instruction to completion.
• Provide clear legal advice to developers, investors, occupiers, lenders, and landowners.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships as trusted adviser.
• Draft, review, negotiate leases, sale contracts, licenses, and ancillary documents.
• Collaborate with Corporate, Construction, and Planning teams on cross-sector deals.
• Identify and manage legal and commercial risks and offer solutions.
• Supervise and mentor junior solicitors, trainees, and support staff.
• Contribute to business development and client events.
• Maintain awareness of market trends in commercial real estate.
• Ensure regulatory and firm risk management compliance.
