Zapp in London is hiring a mobile engineer to own the end-to-end app experience across iOS, Android, and web using React Native and Expo. You'll work in a hybrid setup with on-site collaboration in Nine Elms, London.

You will push AI-powered features, improve performance, and ensure production readiness. The role emphasizes shipping customer-focused improvements and owning delivery from idea to production.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of production mobile software experience.
• Deep React Native and Expo expertise with iOS/Android BC.
• Strong TypeScript fundamentals for scalable apps.
• Daily use of AI patterns to accelerate delivery.
• Production-minded with focus on performance and security.

Responsibilities

• Build world-class mobile and web experiences across iOS, Android, and web.
• Incorporate AI into daily development and share reusable patterns.
• Prototype AI features and bring them to life in the product.
• Own delivery end-to-end from design to production.
• Be on-call and ensure production health.
• Profile performance, harden release processes, maintain quality.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and raise engineering bar.
