JRL Group is recruiting a Senior Engineer with RC Frame experience for a major 46-storey project in Birmingham City Centre. The role leads site engineers, coordinates materials and plant, and ensures quality through inspections on a high-rise RC frame package.

You will use Fieldview, Viewpoint and Topcon tools, manage RFIs and co-ordinate Temporary Works with the project team. Growth into PM is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Civil Engineering or Construction related degree preferred.
• CSCS card and SMSTS; First Aid is beneficial but not compulsory.
• Experience on sub- and superstructures RC frame packages and basements.
• Aiming to progress into a Project Management role.
• Growth mindset and appetite for development within the business.

Responsabilités

• Manage & lead a team of Site Engineers.
• Oversee selection and requisition of materials and plant.
• Carry out and record quality inspections.
• Use digital platforms Fieldview, Viewpoint and Topcon on site.
• Drawing interrogation and RFIs.
• Provide support to the PM & wider construction teams.
• Act as Temporary Works Coordinator and issue permits.
• Find solutions to technical difficulties and on-site challenges.
