RTL Group in Maidstone seeks an experienced Senior Structural Engineer specializing in reinforced concrete frame design. You will lead RC frame projects from concept through construction, coordinating with clients, architects and contractors, and mentoring junior engineers.

You will review designs, perform calculations, and produce drawings and specifications in line with UK standards and Eurocodes. This is a senior role offering technical leadership and significant project responsibility.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in RC frame design and delivery from concept to construction.
• Strong knowledge of UK standards and Eurocodes for RC structures.
• Proven ability to lead design teams and coordinate with clients and contractors.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers and reviewing peers' work.

Responsabilités

• Lead the structural design of reinforced concrete frames, foundations and related elements.
• Undertake and review structural calculations, analysis and design per standards.
• Develop practical and economical structural solutions from concept to detailing.
• Produce and review drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
• Coordinate designs with architects, engineers, contractors and stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.
• Attend design team meetings, client meetings and site visits as required.
• Liaise with contractors and resolve technical queries during construction.
• Assist with project planning, resource management and delivery.
• Support fee proposals, tenders and business development activities where appropriate.
• Maintain high standards of technical quality, compliance and documentation.
