Job summary

American Society of Civil Engineers in Milton Keynes is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead RC frame and groundworks on a 6-month project. The role involves coordinating earthworks, setting out, and ensuring AFC drawings are followed on site.

You'll manage site engineers, maintain QA records, and raise RFIs and NCRs as needed while using surveying instruments to verify progress and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Valid CSCS card required.
• Senior Engineer/Project Engineer with RC frame contractor UK experience (3–5 years).
• Experience in RC works and groundworks in the UK.
• Proficient with surveying instruments.

Responsibilities

• Manage Site Engineers / Setting Out Engineers.
• Provide site engineers with up-to-date information.
• Ensure works follow AFC drawings.
• Maintain QA inspections and documentation.
• Ensure as-built surveys are accurate and on schedule.
• Call off materials and concrete as required.
• Call off reinforcement when necessary.
• Raise RFIs, TQs, and NCRs.
• Produce daily site diaries.
