Job summary

Ferrovial Construction Ltd UK seeks a Rail Systems Design Integration Lead to manage the interface across Rail Systems, Civils and Stations for the HS2 Track infrastructure program. You will coordinate design interfaces, manage RAM and safety disciplines, and work with the Client and multiple contractors to ensure technical consistency and on-time delivery.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and proven experience in major rail projects, with the ability to drive

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Chartered IMEC, PWA Institute or CEng ICE desirable.
• Experience in major multi-disciplinary rail projects and UK projects is valuable.
• Proficient in design coordination and interface management in railway projects.
• Knowledge of system safety, interoperability and RAM disciplines, processes and regulations (CDM, CSM, RIR).

Responsibilities

• Lead management and coordination of all design interfaces between Contractor systems scope and HS2 contractors and Client.
• Develop, implement and maintain Interface Management Plan and procedures for railway systems designs integration.
• Oversee RAM, System Safety, Interoperability, and Security management plans.
• Manage system integration processes from design to construction and control ICDs.
• Coordinate with client, designers and internal teams to resolve design interfaces and ensure timely delivery.
• Chair regular rail systems / civils integration meetings and support change/risk management.
