Job summary

Ferrovial Construction is hiring a Rail Systems Engineer to join the HS2 Track infrastructure project at the design phase. The role operates within a Rail Systems Alliance to manage interfaces, resources and logistics for cost and schedule.

Location options include Euston-London or Birmingham. Reporting to the Technical Assurance Lead, you will support risk management, ensure registers are maintained accurately, and contribute to monthly performance reports.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
• Chartered IMEC, PWA Institute or CEng ICE desirable.

Responsibilities

• Administers the Technical Risk and Assumptions Management processes under guidance of the Rail Systems Design Integration Lead.
• Coordinates attendance, records notes, and produces reports for review meetings.
• Ensures designers complete and review registers before each session and FBRS/JV review.
• Produces monthly reports outlining key metrics and progress.
