Job summary

APCOA PARKING UK is seeking a Senior Operations Manager to lead the Southern region on a multi-site rail car park contract. You will deputise for the Contract Manager, ensure safe, compliant and commercially effective delivery, and provide leadership across sites.

This role requires strong commercial acumen, experience in multi-site operations and a proactive approach to driving performance, reporting and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in parking operations or multi-site management.
• Strong commercial awareness with ability to read budgets, KPIs and forecasts.
• Experience leading managers and frontline teams across multiple locations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management, both internal and with clients.
• Knowledge of enforcement, customer issues and BPA guidance is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Excel and operational reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead contract delivery by coordinating Area Managers and teams to meet site standards.
• Monitor revenue, occupancy, budgets and costs; identify opportunities to improve income and efficiency.
• Provide visible operational leadership by visiting sites and addressing underperformance.
• Strengthen client relationships; prepare reports and support performance reviews.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, signage, codes and company procedures.
• Coordinate projects and process improvements; maintain audit trails and MIS.
